Hey all! Im Nikki Wagner, an Erie PA based photographer (but moving to St. Petersburg FL. in November!!) specializing in Weddings, Portraits, Events and Kicking Ass.

I am now accepting bookings for weddings in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota and Clearwater for 2013!!!

I graduated from Edinboro University of PA with my fine art photography degree back in 2004. 2 weeks before graduation I got in contact with Washington DC photographer extraordinaire John Harrington, who took me under his wing and showed me the ropes of photojournalism and the business of photography.

After the incredible experience I gained from working for John, I took a job at AOL in their News, Sports and Entertainment divisions as a Photographer / Photo Editor, and I loved every minute of it. I got to work with the most AMAZING group of photographers and editors, most of which Im proud to say are still dear friends, mentors and a huge part of my life still.

After 6 months, AOL moved me to their NYC office, where I mostly concentrated on Entertainment News (Yes, Im still a celebrity gossip JUNKIE) for the next 2 years until I took a position as the Managing Multimedia Editor for the Local Integrated Media (The websites) for NBC Universal.

For the next three years at NBC Universal I had the opportunity of creating, launching, re-launching and managing the photo and video content of 10 groundbreaking websites (NBCNY.com, NBCLA.com, NBCMiami.com, NBCChicago.com etc. etc.) as well as some of the most respected Fashion, Food, Nitelife, TV & Movie, and Local Viral Media blogs in the industry.

But still, after gaining all of that amazing experience and working with some of the most respected people in the media industry a couple things were missing. My family and Photography (which, with all of the responsibilities I had in the office, I rarely got to pick up my camera anymore) So I packed my bags (which if you've ever lived in a NYC apartment, you know that it really wasn't all that many) and moved back to Erie to start my Lifestyle Photography Business.

Honestly, I feel like I took a 7 year detour from where I really needed to be all along but I wouldnt change it for the world.

I live a pretty simple life now in a small cottage (which feels like a mansion to me after some of the closets Ive lived in) with my puppy Grr and my wonderful and supportive boyfriend Jared. When Im not taking pictures, Im blogging, FBing, playing with Grr (who has her own FB fan page, because that is the kinda dog mom I am), reading up on my celebrity news (which I feel sooo behind on all the time now that it isnt my job!!), eating Taco Bell (its been my favorite food since I was 15, I eat it at least 2 times a week) spending time with my amazingly supportive family and friends, drooling over shoes, watching reality TV or zombie movies, obsessing over mustaches (I blame my grandmother and all of the Tom Selek we watched while I was growing up), or catching a local show at a local bar.. And I couldnt be happier!!
